Zilo meets Sei: an adventure in trust

Se smiles and laughs loudly "The only things I own are my clothes. I wash them when thery get dirty and I buy new ones when they wear out. If they take damage I repair them, my life is rather simple. I travel around and take down the bad guys." Sei lets Zilo take the first watch and figures he will wake her up when it is her time to stand guard. She closes her eyes and goes to sleep while leaning against the tree.

The sun was finally coming up he had let her sleep all night long he didn't Want her not ot be rested for today. He went fishing again leaving his close on the line. He would still be fishing by the time she got up he already caught one fish he needed one more.

Sei wakes up slightly after sun came up. She stretches and yawns than notices it is is daylight. "What's the idea? If we're going to be a team I do have to carry my own weight you know? Either we share the responsibilities or one of us ends up becoming less important than the other. I would never let you sleep all night just because I thought you couldn't handle it. From now on you have to wake me up for my shift, we are both equals here. Don't baby me I can handle it." Sei sighs while looking at Zilo with her eyes slightly narrowed to show she isn't happy, but not entirely mad either.

"Well i thought maybe you could use the rest. There he is!!" He dived under water and pulled out a giant catfish twice his size and tossed it onto the shore and then picked it up and started to cook it. HE smiled at his friend and continued to cook it.

"I only slept as long as I did because you were here. I usually sleep 4 hours at a time in the wild. I tend to sleep twice a day you goof ball. Since I can move from place to place quickly I don't have to worry much as far as finding places to sleep in safety. We have to become a better team Zilo, if we can't do that than we will never be a good team. At the least we both need to start sharing tasks, I'll cook the next meal okay? Trust me, we can become a better team." Sei watches Zilo cook the catfish wondering how it will taste.

Zilo nods his head to sei then reaches into he sheath and pulled out a package of something. He poured it on the fish giving it a nice aroma he then looked back at sei and cut her a piece. It looked as if it was cooked like those professional cook in a japan grill store. He then cut him some.

Sei eats the fish wondering how Zilo learned to cook like this. "I have to admit I can't quite cook this good yet, but I am working on it Maybe you can teach me." Sei continues eating knowing things will improve between them as they learn more about each other. Their team work will improve, but it is a slow process as it it always has been.

He smiles at her as he continues to eat the fish he has and then puts his plate down and prays for the fish he was eating. He then looked up at sei after he was done praying and smiled at her "I only know to cook like this is because i was a chef for a place once." HE then continued to eat waiting then said "I can teahc you some time if you would like me too."

"I would like that a lot. Than I could cook good meals instead of meals that might be passable merely because they aren't burnt." Sei laughs warmly hoping Zilo understands what she means. She looks at him "So should we travel fast or slow? Or should we just find the raiders and ambush the, as the approach?"

Zilo smiled and looked at her "They are already here." With that one fired a arrow at the back of his head trying to hit sei he threw his sword up the arrow bounced off his sword and his sword came out. He grabbed it and sliced another incoming arrow.

Sei jumps up and forms the energy fields around her feet, she runs to her left and than aims for the enemy. She approaches them in a zig zag pattern at full speed trying to make it harder on them. She decides to clothesline two of them as she runs between them aiming for their necks as she maintains full speed.

Zilo stood there and was jumped by 5 of them. The guys weren't near as small as him. They where more 2 his size. He was fighting them off with his sword. He then summoned his in human strength. He punched on of them breaking his ris and fought the rest while sei was taking care of the archers.

Sei continues on coming back at them from behind. She forms an energy field around her left hand and puches an archer in the stomach as she turn with the others to face her. The force of the punch lifts him off his feet and launches him into a tree planting him into firmly into it. Sei heads back to where Zilo is and grabs one of his opponents by the back of his pants and shirt ripping him of Zilo's back. She runs towards a tree and at full speed and lets go of the man making his face impact on the tree.

Zilo decided to finish this fast. He released his final sword form. The aura formed around him. Zilo now looked like a fucking demon with a insane aura. He started slicing adn dicing the raider. He knocked one in the air as he was coming down he came down with the sword and ripped the guy in half the blood getting everywhere on Zilo. He was smiling he then charged at the other and knocked him in the air. And before he could hit the ground h used one hand with his buster sword and sliced the guy to shreds still smiling.

Sei speeds up while heading back towards the least few archers and tries to mow them all down in a straight line. Some of them are smart enough to move, but the rest just stand there like idiots she plows through them at high speed. She weaves in and out of them clothelining them one at a time aiming for their necks. She runs up a tree and turns in mid air landing facing them again, she forms energy field around her fists and starts punching of of the raiders as fast she can. He tries to block the attacks and discovers that he is now defenseless against her attacks. The other archers watch as she breaks his bones and pounds him into the ground easily.

Zilo smiles at the other archers that where aiming their bows in the air. He charged a douchi kito and swung down with it. All sei hears behind her is the screaming pain and the sound of something blowing up behind her. Half of the forest was destroyed from Zilos attack with jsut one swing.....

Sei see the forest is pretty much devastated and she feels sorry for the animals that live here. She walks up to what is left of a treee and holds her hands next to it's twsited reamins causing part of the tree to begin regrowing almost as if nothing had happend to it. Sei feels a bit tired but she knows that the forest must be restored no matter how long it takes. She is happy that she can restore the forest even if it is one tree, bush or animal at a time. Although she does know she can not restore the dead, at least she doesn't think she can.

Zilo walks up to her and places his hand on her shoulder. He gives her his strength in this form and with his inhuman strength on so she can heal the whole forest with just one touch to the ground. The energy flowing through her should make her feel stronger then ever and more rested then ever.

Sei watches as the forest starts returning to normal at a faster rate. Although since she isn't used to so much energy or using this ability on such a large scale she passes out shortly after the forest is restored fully.

Zilo was never used to lending his powers to someone he was feeling weaker then ever he used his sword to brace himself and watch in case any more try to attack them. He knew he didn't have enough left to use his douchi kito so he just has to watch her in he sleep. He covers her up with his top and he is left in his tank top he sits there watching.

Sei sleeps soundly as her body recovers, she lays there as Zilo watches her. She dreams about weird things that seemingly have nothing to do with anything.

Zilo stood there looking around in case he see anyone coming after sei. He sees no one coming and he put his sword away feeling somepower come back to him. He sat down on a log and watch over her. He didn;t even noticed the sun started to rise. He didn't think he was sitting there that long.

Sei continues sleeping as her body recovers from the strain. Her eyes slowly star to open as she stirs, but her mind isn't focused yet. She moves a bit and has no idea where she is.

"Careful now if you move too much the you might not being able to move for now rest and we will see if you feel better when yo wake up now shhh" Zilo voice almost had like a lulaby tuen to it making most people fall asleep.

Sei closes her eyes and goes back to sleep. Her body continues to recover from what happened awhile ago. Her mind remains inactive as she sleeps, time passes and she finds herself back on her fathger's farm. She watches as her mother struggles with a raider. Another raider is toying with her and she feels his hands as he tries to grab her. She wants to help her mom and get away from these people at the same time. The riader grabs her as she lunges away from him, they bith fall and she feels the pain as her neck breaks. Everything goes black, Sei wakes up and screams.
